PHOENIX -- Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress managed to do some individual route running and drills today, but did not participate in New York's final pre-Super Bowl practice due to his injured right ankle and swelling in his left knee, this according to the Giants' pool report.
Burress is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game.
"He's improved," Giants coach Tom Couglin said of Burress. "He's done it all year under all kinds of circumstances. We've just got to be hopeful he can do it one more time."
Burress has fought his ankle problems virtually all season and the knee has been a periodic problem as well. He is arguably the most dangerous offensive player on the Giants' roster.
Guard Rich Seubert, who hurt a knee in the NFC Championship Game against the Packers, and cornerback Kevin Dockery, out four of the last five games with a hip flexor, both practiced and are listed as probable. Defensive end Osi Umenyiora missed practice Friday with a sore thigh, but is also probable.
