US actress Suzanne Pleshette has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, less than two weeks after she died of respiratory failure.
Pleshette was best known for her role as the wife of Bob Newhart in 1970s TV sitcom The Bob Newhart Show.
"The only thing that exceeds her talent and her beauty was her bravery," said Newhart, who attended the ceremony.
The actress, who would have been 71 on Thursday, underwent chemotherapy for lung cancer in 2006.
The unveiling of the star was planned before Pleshette's death.
Tina Sinatra, one of the daughters of crooner Frank Sinatra, accepted it on behalf of the actress.
