India thrashed New Zealand 6-1 to record their second consecutive win at the Eight Nation Invitational junior hockey tournament in Kuala Lumpur.
Drag-flicker Diwakar Ram and Sarvanjeet Singh scored a brace each as India whipped the Kiwis on Friday to be perched at the top.
Apart from Diwakar (40th & 64th minutes) and Sarvanjeet (8th, 16th), Dharamveer Singh (19th) and skipper Gurwinder Singh Chandi (36th) also scored in India's resounding victory.
Stephen Jennes shot home for New Zealand in the 35th minute.
In their first match, India had drubbed South Korea by an identical scoreline of 6-1.
