Pakistan wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal and fast bowler Umar Gul have joined the Indian Premier League (IPL), Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) director media and marketing Ahsan Hamid Malik told Daily Times on Friday.
Shoaib Malik, Shoaib Akhtar, Shahid Afridi, Muhammad Asif, Younis Khan and Muhammad Yousuf have already signed the IPL contracts.
Kamran and Umar will get $175,000 each for playing in the IPL.
The 25-year-old wicketkeeper has represented Pakistan in 38 Tests and 80 One-Day Internationals while Umar has played 16 Tests and 39 ODIs.
Yousuf will get $330,000 contract. Malik will get $300,000 while Akhtar, Afridi, Younis and Asif will earn $225,000 each.
Meanwhile, Yousuf has left it to the PCB and Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) to bail him out of his dispute with the unofficial Indian Cricket League (ICL).
The next hearing of the dispute comes up sometime this month. Yousuf has been allowed to participate in the bidding process on February 8.
