BANGALORE: President Pratibha Patil arrived in Bangalore on Friday on a three-day visit to Karnataka.
She was received by Governor Rameshwar Thakur and senior officials of the state on arrival.
The President was given a ceremonial guard of honour by the three armed forces at the airport.
Patil will be reviewing implementation of development works and will discuss administrative issues with Thakur and three of his advisors in the state, which is currently under the spell of the President's rule.
The President will be inaugurating the first anniversary of Mediation Centre in the evening.
